Old Flame is a secret achievement in The Evil Within.
Overview[]
In order to unlock this achievement, the player must defeat Laura in combat during one of her encounters. Laura is only considered "defeated" if she plays an animation where she seemingly dies and slumps down onto the floor. Simply driving her away, or using scripted sequences to cause her to despawn will not unlock the achievement.
As one is forced to fight Laura at the end of Chapter 5: Inner Recesses, this achievement is unmissable.
Notes[]
- Managing to beat Laura during the Chapter 4 chase will not unlock the achievement.
